Throughout each year students are able to take part in a number of excursions that are organised by the coordinating teacher. As part of the school curricular, teachers encourage students to take part in hands on activities to help enrich their learning through visual and practical means.

Examples of excursions that take place throughout the year:

Outdoor Ed: Surfing @ Sandy point/Inverloch, Walhalla long tunnel, Mt Baw Baw Skiing, Rock Climbing, Buchan Caves.

Humanities: Jewish Holocaust Museum, Melbourne Museum – Tutenkahmun, Old Melbourne Gaol, Immigration museum, coastal field trips.

The Arts: Top Arts, Top Design, Dream Weaver – Sale gallery, Malthouse Theatre, Xpressions Drama Festival.

Science/English: Chemistry/DNA workshops, Shakespeare Botanical Garden performance, Professor Bunsen performance, Sound House Arts Centre, Melbourne Writers Festival, Rising Water English performance.
